Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and landscapes. Your expertise in lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping will contribute to the overall beauty and functionality of our clients' properties.
Duties:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns
- Plant, prune, and maintain trees and shrubs
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Design and build landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and flower beds
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed to promote healthy plant growth
- Clean and maintain outdoor spaces by removing debris and ensuring cleanliness
- Supervise a team of landscapers to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide appropriate solutions
Experience:
- Proven experience in lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping
- Strong knowledge of plant species, irrigation systems, and landscaping techniques
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
- Experience in designing and building landscape features is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
